Reading Meal Prep Nutrition Labels
Nutrition is most useful when it helps you compare the actual meals you are considering.
VIEW THIS WEEK'S MENU →Know what each number describes
Calories describe energy. Protein, carbs and fat are shown in grams. Fiber appears when it is available in the recipe data; a missing fiber figure is not the same as zero.
Keep the serving consistent
The menu numbers describe the individual meal. If you order two portions or add other foods, your total changes. Do not use one recipe’s nutrition as a substitute for another dish with a similar name.
Read ingredients separately
Nutrition values cannot tell you whether a dish meets an allergy requirement. Check ingredients and call before ordering if you need clarification. Spanish labels change the language, not the quantities.
